The Heart of

Personawealth

Our Foundation & Mission

We are transforming financial wellness by breaking down the artificial walls that traditionally separate different dimensions of well-being. Through our innovative app, powered by our proprietary assessment science and AI technology, we create digital spaces where people can grow their self-awareness, practice new approaches, and fundamentally change their psychological relationship with money.

Unlike traditional financial or wellness apps that focus on single metrics, ours integrates emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, occupational, and financial elements—recognizing that true wealth emerges when these dimensions work in harmony.

Through Personawealth, we're creating the tools for a life where financial decisions and personal fulfillment are no longer separate journeys, but one integrated path.

Beyond the Numbers

Laying the Groundwork

Financial wellness extends far beyond the numbers on a page. True financial wellbeing comes from recognizing blind spots in your relationship with money that can subtly sabotage your goals.  Created by a multidisciplinary team of experts - from clinical therapists and finance professionals to technologists and performance psychologists - our evidence-based assessments, tools, and platform illuminate connections between what we believe and what we do.

We start with curiosity, we start with your  “WHY” -  guiding you through an exploration of the human side of money - the emotional, psychological, and relational dimensions - while addressing unique challenges faced by those underserved by traditional finance.

Through data-driven insights, we uncover how your core values around money shape decisions across home, work, parenting, and relationships.

Our Core Values

Innovation, integrity, and empathy guide our mission to make money personal—fusing advanced AI solutions with ethical, transparent, and compassionate support to help you achieve lasting financial well-being.

Innovation

We combine cutting-edge AI technology with behavioral science to create experiences that adapt to your unique financial psychology and learning style. By continually redefining what's possible in personal finance, we approach each challenge with experimentation and creativity, reimagining how you can better understand and optimize your relationship with money.

Integrity

We practice responsible data stewardship, transparent methodology, and an unwavering commitment to ethical practices that serve your highest good, not just our bottom line. From handling your data responsibly and securely to delivering transparent insights that guide you toward your goals, we build trust through honesty, accountability, and a singular focus on what serves you best. We are committed to any work we ask of you—we have experienced it ourselves and continue to practice what we teach.

Empathy

We recognize systemic inequities and design with accessibility at our core, ensuring our platform accommodates diverse needs, communication styles, and historically excluded experiences. By meeting you where you are—with compassion and without judgment—we create pathways to financial well-being that honor your unique journey.

Nick Ashburn's Core Mission: To democratize financial wellness by bridging psychology and finance, working from places he has healed within himself. He creates systems that honor both analytical rigor and emotional wisdom, transforming how we define and build meaningful wealth in our communities.

What helps Nick shine? Connecting with others, exploring new ideas, and figuring out paths forward. He and his husband deeply enjoy cozy "hygge" days at home with their son, creating space to recharge and reconnect through simple joys and meaningful moments together.

What he's working on? Perfectionism, feelings of "not good enough," and seeking external validation — familiar challenges that connect him deeply to the emotional work of financial wellness that Personawealth champions.

Jason sees his work in creating this safe space as another medium for his visual art. He is curating an environment to elicit a response — in this context, that response is one of curiosity, introspection, interruption, and re-coding. For Jason, this virtual art installation is where people can discover new dimensions of themselves while letting go of limiting beliefs about money. His philosophy holds that powerful design creates spaces where we don't have to find the right words or feel the intensity that builds when we are misunderstood. We can simply experience change in action, we can have a shared experience – the dance of play and curiosity. Anyone welcomed into Jason's creative space undergoes an experiential heart-centered process of change. Before joining Personawealth, Jason led teams at SigFig developing AI-powered tools that enhanced financial advisory workflows. At Trucendent, he helped define and scale the company's product vision from the ground up, always centering the human experience in technological solutions. A former university instructor, Jason infuses his leadership with a teaching mindset that empowers teams to explore creative solutions.

Jason Prunty's Core Mission: To transform how we move through the world by shaping environments that activate cultural change, working from his healed experiences with creative vulnerability. He designs spaces—both digital and physical—as catalysts for shifting perception, enabling people to discover new ways of being and interacting with both their surroundings and each other.

What helps Jason shine?
I cherish creativity, embracing exploration as a means to constantly innovate and push boundaries, believing that through exploration, we uncover new perspectives and solutions that enrich our lives and the world around us.

What he's working on? Cultivating healthy vulnerability by opening his creative spaces and inner emotional worlds to others, while strengthening his trust in his intuitive knowing and nurturing deeper connections with those he cherishes.

Moraya believes it's vital that everyone in a startup feels connected to the "why" and builds from centralized, aligned values. For her, this is more than strategy or good business practice—it's a fundamental component of what well-being means to her. She is the co-founder of BFF Therapy, specializing in working with those from historically marginalized groups, and a senior therapist at Evolve Therapy,an ICEEFT Emotionally Focused Therapy for people in relationships training clinic. As host of the HomeEc Podcast and descendant of folk activists Toshi and Pete Seeger, along with Black & Japanese artists and healers, she brings a unique perspective to shifting our complex relationships with money and community. Her work spans international campaigns, from mental health initiatives to culturally impactful organizations. Moraya's rootworker approach is most evident in her Thought Leaders Root Werq, where she aligns and heals at the root level by identifying core truths for those in positions of influence. Drawing on her strengths as a Trust-Building Strategist, she intuitively creates personalized "remedies" for organizations, cultural leaders, and influencers doing meaningful work, helping them move with deeper values and authenticity. She guides from a place of connection, honesty, and perspective—values that inform the development of Personawealth's innovative GROWTHPROFILE methodology. This approach illuminates blind spots around financial behaviors, intimacy patterns, and self-worth that often remain invisible in traditional assessment tools. By integrating emotional intelligence with practical strategies, she helps humans transform their relationship with money, purpose, and belonging. Her roles as mother, partner, sister, friend, and neurodivergent creative are the heart of why she specializes in designing tools that help underrepresented communities—particularly QTBIPOC, neurodivergent, and those navigating autoimmune, chronic pain, and attachment wounds—feel understood and empowered as we interrupt generational patterns of connection and disconnection. Her trauma-informed, attachment, identity-centered approach addresses the emotional foundations of financial wellness, recognizing that when we feel safe and authentically seen, we can redirect mental energy toward pursuing dreams and building wealth aligned with our values.

Core Mission:
To create spaces where people feel safe to show up authentically as their rooted selves, working from the places she has healed within herself to guide others through their own journey. Her approach recognizes that healing begins with self-recognition and ripples outward—not just allowing others to feel seen and understood, but transforming our collective experience of belonging by shifting the systems that define value and worth in our society.

What helps Moraya shine? Deep connection, growing things, sustainability, and values-driven strategy. Playing with her partner of nearly two decades and their two children at the beach. Working in environments where her insights are recognized without requiring her to diminish her intelligence or unique perspective.

What she's working on? Challenging the deeply ingrained belief that her worth is measured by productivity and service to others. She's engaged in continuous healing and profound unlearning around attachment patterns and examining how these manifest in her relationship with herself, her family dynamics, and her approach to financial decisions. Embracing her full self without apology, including her unique systems-thinking approach that allows her to see connections that others might miss.
